The Big Sommet AFGO

The Big Sommet AFGO 2020.

2019 saw Paul Evans, Francis Cade and myself ride from Biarritz across the Pyrenees to Mont Ventoux then the French, Swiss and Italian Alps, the Stelvio before finishing in the Dolomites. 2500 km and 48,000 metres of climbing. The ride was in aid of Movember and to support their work helping men who struggle with mental health issues. We raised over £9000.00.

This time we’d like to invite you to join us for a week to continue what we’ve started. We’ll ride some Dolomiti icons based out of Corvara with our friends at Hotel Melodia del Bosco and lesser known but as impressive climbs Slovenia has to offer such as the Vrsic Pass and the imposing Mangart Pass along with a border raid into Austria and the Grossglockner

Our goal again is to raise as much money as possible for the charity but also a chance to talk openly in the hope it helps others who struggle like I do.

You’ll be looked after by an expert team from Sommet Cycling along with Francis, Paul and myself.

Each day will be a challenge, serious elevation gains and no junk miles. Just the best route imaginable.
